DENVER, CO (February 28, 2022) — The 8th Annual NoCo Hemp Expo announced an important upgraded venue change to the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center for the world’s first and most extensive hemp expo and trade show March 23-25.
Colorado Gov. Jared Polis will give the keynote speech at the Gaylord event Thursday, March 24.
We Are For Better Alternatives/Colorado Hemp Company, the trade show’s organizers, were offered the opportunity to upgrade the venue for NoCo8 to the Gaylord, one of Denver’s newest and well-equipped hotel and convention spaces with easy access and free shuttles from Denver International Airport.
Denver’s Crowne Plaza is not available due to an ongoing government humanitarian program taking place at the venue, organizers said.
State of the Art Event Space and Accommodations
The two-day NoCo Hemp Expo at the Gaylord Rockies will feature 150+ exhibitors, and more than 100 speakers at the Business Conference and Investment Summit on Thursday, March 24 and the Farm Symposium and Ag Tech Forum on Friday, March 25. The trade show will be open for B2B Industry professionals on Thursday and Friday and again open to the public on Friday, March 25.
“Given the size and scope of this year’s event and the relocation logistics four weeks out from the conference, we are excited to welcome the industrial hemp community to Colorado” said WAFBA president and NoCo organizer Morris Beegle. “While this is a daunting task, we are fortunate to have an amazing option to almost seamlessly move the event to the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center,” he added.
“We know how to pivot, that’s what we do. This is an exciting opportunity to upgrade the facilities and value for NoCo8 at no additional cost to our esteemed sponsors, exhibitors, presenters and attendees.”
The Gaylord is 6 miles from the Crowne Plaza and 4 miles from Denver International Airport, with free shuttle service between the resort and the airport.
Trade Show and Special Events at the Gaylord
The Gaylord’s state-of-the-art convention space will fully accommodate the NoCo8 trade show floor with minimal change, organizers said. The Gaylord hosts five restaurants, fitness facilities and relaxing indoor and outdoor casual meeting spaces for networking and deal flow.
In addition, all of the NoCo8 networking events and banquets will be held on-site under one roof, limiting travel time and additional costs for participants.
Special events now rescheduled for the Gaylord Rockies will include:
- A Revolution Rising Welcome Reception on Wednesday, March 23
- WAFBA Awards of Excellence Banquet on Thursday, March 24
- Colorado Hemp Company 10th Anniversary and After Party on Friday, March 25
