Friends of NoCo Hemp Expo, thank you. After more than a decade of rolling up sleeves and raising roofs, I can say with a grin, what a long, strange trip it’s been. We built something together that mattered. And we are not done. I am resetting, refining, refocusing, and pressing onward. Fall down seven times, stand up eight.
A clear note of gratitude and closure: NoCo Hemp Expo has taken its final bow. NoCo11 in April 2025 was the last one. We took it to 11, we’ve been #OneLouder for ten plus years…and even the mighty Spinal Tap would be proud. Thank you for making it legendary.
I have always believed the show must go on. Even when the path got steep, we knew it’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll, and the map looked more like modern art than directions, but we kept going. Why? Because the wheel in the sky keeps on turning. Because here comes the sun. Because when it gets weird, it’s times like these you learn to live again.
So thank you to everyone who showed up, spoke up, and lifted up. Your support has been the chorus behind the work. Life is a long song. When a door creaked shut, we chose to break on through to the other side. When doubts tried to crowd the stage, we chose to hold the line. When the wind shifted, we rode the wind of change.
This is me, promising you I am still in the fight. I’ll fight the good fight,I won’t back down, I’ll take it to the limit. I will keep on fighting till the end. Call it stubborn, or call it purpose, but the mission remains, as the song remains the same. NoCo gave us 11 incredible years, and I’m profoundly grateful for every moment. The work now moves into a new chapter: Hemp 3.0. No retreat, baby, no surrender.Hemp 3.0 is unfolding, the bioeconomy is ascending, and we will shine a light on the future. We won’t get fooled again.
The next chapter starts now. Right here, right now. We will turn the page,come together,rise up and build smarter, stronger, leaner. There are lessons in the miles, and there is joy too. Dream until your dreams come true. And if the path tilts, we’ll spiral out, keep going. We’ll catch the rainbowand take the power back.
To everyone who poured time, talent, and heart into this journey, please hear this clearly. There will be an answer, let it be. We will keep on rockin’ in the free world. We will let it roll. We will find a light in the black. Some days will feel like livin’ on the edge, but together we can still keep pushin’.
If you are tired, just breathe.Don’t look back. If you are fired up, good. Stand up and shout! If you are on the fence, come as you are. There is room for builders, growers, makers, and believers. We may not get everything we want, but we will create what we need. We will make it over the mountain. And we will be flying high again, as Ozzy said it best.
Hemp has always been bigger than one country, one company, one show, or one person. It is a community and a promise. Hold your head up.Never surrender.Never say die. When the calendar flips and the dust settles, we will still be here, moving the bales, planting the next field, setting the next stage, in honor of the one true mother, Mother Earth.
So thank you for the first ten plus years. Thank you for the support, the calls, the emails, the late-night brainstorms, and the early-morning load-ins. Thank you for believing that better is possible. The compass is set, the amps are warm, the lights are coming up.
With great appreciation, we close the NoCo chapter and step fully into Hemp 3.0.
Time tolight up the skyandget back in the saddle. And, once again, a new day will dawn for those who stand long and the forests will echo with laughter.
