AURORA, CO (March 8, 2022) — Colorado Gov. Jared Polis will deliver an update on the state’s hemp industry at the 8th Annual NoCo Hemp Expo’s Business Conference and Investment Summit on Thursday, March 24, at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Conference Center.
Polis is a longtime supporter of the hemp industry nationwide. In 2015, then-Congressman Jared Polis flew a hemp flag over the U.S. Capitol, to celebrate the passage of the 2014 Farm Bill legalizing industrial hemp. Polis instituted Colorado’s Hemp Week in June ordering a hemp flag to fly over the Colorado Capitol.

Polis has been a fierce champion of Colorado’s hemp industry, pushing our state to be a global leader in this emerging new source of jobs, industry and green solutions,” said Elizabeth Knight, co-founder of the NoCo Hemp Expo. “The Governor’s steadfast support in promoting hemp further positions Colorado as a recognized leader in hemp innovation and excellence.”
