NoCo Hemp Expo EARTH WEEK Virtual Conference and Trade Show a Success; Organizers Gear Up for Next Digital Gathering

Denver, CO (April 29, 2020) – NoCo Hemp Expo, in conjunction with Let’s Talk Hemp Media, hosted its first-ever EARTH WEEK Virtual Conference and Trade Show on April 22, 2020 – the official 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Presented by Python Extraction Systems, and sponsored by PureHemp Pulp and Paper, Helderpad, Royale Botanicals and Victory Hemp, the show opened with a virtual live conference and included 25 companies in the virtual expo hall. During the show you could find pre-recorded video presentations from more than twenty nationally acclaimed industry experts. Distinguished speakers shared their stories and provided critical updates and relevant information relating to the latest government regulations and the hemp supply chain.
Let’s Talk Hemp and the 422 Podcast hosts Morris Beegle and Rick Trojan provided keynote remarks. They served as virtual emcees throughout the live broadcast, which focused on four distinct sessions targeting sustainability, regulatory policies, health and wellness, and the future of hemp farming.
Notable Industry Speakers
The NoCo Hemp Expo EARTH WEEK Virtual Conference and Trade Show featured special guests including: Bill Richmond, Chief, U.S. Domestic Hemp Production Program, USDA; Alyssa Boston, Miss Universe Canada 2019; Rachael Rapinoe, former pro Soccer Star and cofounder of the Mendi Co.; Doug Fine, hemp farmer and nationally acclaimed author, and others. In addition, Jonathan Miller, one of the nation’s foremost hemp attorneys, led a fireside chat and discussed the current state of the industry, specifically relating to business and regulatory affairs during the coronavirus crisis.
A lively discussion also took place during the final session of the live broadcast. Panelists discussed the future of hemp farming and the progress being made in genetics, technology, and innovation. Other speakers included: Tim Gordon, Chief Science Officer, Functional Remedies, Managing Member of International Hemp Solutions, and President, Colorado Hemp Industries Association; Wendy Mosher, President & CEO, New West Genetics; and Preston Whitfield, NoCo Hemp Expo.
Road to NoCo: Experience Hemp Summer Solstice
EARTH WEEK was the first of a number of online and virtual events NoCo Hemp Expo has planned for the remainder of the year. Additionally, organizers are already gearing up for the second online event, the Experience Hemp Summer Solstice Virtual Conference & Trade Show, scheduled to take place June 16-19, 2020. The producers are also planning to move forward with the 7th Annual NoCo Hemp Expo live conference and trade show, set for Aug. 6-8, 2020, at the National Western Complex in Denver, CO.
