Veterans Helping Other Vets to Improve their Quality of Life with the Power of Hemp
By Heather Collins
As the nation recognizes Veterans Day today, Steve Danyluk, Warfighter Hemp Founder and Lieutenant Colonel (ret.), United States Marine Corps Reserve (USMCR), wants to remind Americans that veterans need support every day.
“When you’re in the battlefield, fighting for your country, you have many eye-opening moments,” reflects Steve Danyluk, known to many as Luker. “When you return home from combat, what happens then is when the real struggle takes place. All you want is to feel normal again, away from the line of duty.”

What Does a Biden-Harris Administration Mean for Hemp?
By the U.S. Hemp Roundtable
While President Trump has not conceded, and legal challenges continue to mount, it has become apparent that Joe Biden will take the oath of office as the 46th President of the United States.
The transition of administrations, of course, has enormous ramifications on a wide variety of issues. But as your advocate in the halls of Congress, federal agencies and state legislatures, we are looking at one narrow question: What does a Biden/Harris presidency mean for hemp?
A look at the big picture does not reveal any revolutionary change. That’s because the hemp industry, and farmers who grow hemp, enjoy strong, bi-partisan support among policymakers in the nation’s capital. Hemp is one of the all-too-rare policy issues that unites leaders across partisan and ideological lines. But at the margins, we see meaningful differences that could portend very well for our industry.
Jonathan Miller, General Counsel for the U.S. Hemp Roundtable, told Let’s Talk Hemp, “We are increasingly optimistic about hemp’s political prospects. Nearly all of our biggest supporters, from both parties, won reelection, and the likely changes among the political leadership at FDA, USDA and DEA could help resolve some of the more difficult issues that farmers and the industry have been facing.”

TAKE ACTION
Hemp Supporters, there’s never been a more urgent opportunity to support CBD on Capitol Hill. If passed, H.R. 8179 would ensure that hemp-derived CBD, and other non-intoxicating hemp ingredients, could be lawfully marketed as dietary supplements.
Help Hemp Farmer Debra White Plume in Her Fight Against Cancer
Many in the hemp community have inquired about the status of Debra White Plume’s health. Doctors discovered a mass on Debra’s lung along with several in her abdomen. Due to the seriousness of this discovery, doctors have decided to begin chemo therapy and radiation. Donations for Debra’s medical bills are now being accepted. We all continue to be encouraged by the prayers and warm thoughts coming in from around the world.
