Let’s Talk Hemp Charts Course for the Future with ‘Hemp Industry 2021 Opportunities Report’

Published Synopsis Delivers Detailed Outlook Highlighting Marketplace Data, Key Topics and Trends Affecting the Hemp Industry and the Road Ahead

Denver, CO (February 2, 2021) – Hemp business leaders, farmers, agricultural processors and manufacturers who are seeking the latest information on hemp, can acquire marketplace data and insight in the newly released Hemp Industry 2021 Opportunities Report.’ Published by Let’s Talk Hemp, the synopsis provides a detailed account of key topics and trends affecting the hemp industry and serves as a guide for the road ahead.

Concise and comprehensive, the 22-page report was recently presented at the 3rd Annual Winter Hemp Summit, and delivers an inside-track to new technologies in the hemp supply chain, an outlook on regulations & legislation, a perspective on the hemp CBD market, and the rise of hemp processors.

“For those who are passionate about advancing the hemp industry, I highly encourage you to download a copy of the Hemp Industry 2021 Opportunities Report.’ It’s packed with no-frills, straight facts, and trusted information from leading resources in a timely and accurate way,” said Morris Beegle, Let’s Talk Hemp Media Co-founder and Producer of NoCo Hemp Expo.

Report Highlight: Legislation to Watch
The report kicks off the new year, as 2021 begins to gain traction with a new administration and recent developments in Congress, along with groundbreaking rulings in the E.U. and the United Nations. This year, the industrial hemp community holds promise for those who dedicate themselves to agriculture, product innovation, and advancing the market for all things hemp.

Legislative challenges however could block opportunities for advancement. In the report, contributing writer Halston Trabucco from Hoban Law Group, an international law firm specializing in cannabis, addresses which legislation the industrial hemp community should watch, both globally & domestically.

“In Europe, 2020 year-end legislative and regulatory activity bodes well for international hemp & cannabis markets,” writes Trabucco. “In Oct. 2020, the European Parliament voted in favor of increasing the THC threshold for industrial hemp from 0.2% to 0.3%, aligning European hemp policy with the U.S. This move will open opportunities for European cannabinoid hemp producers.”

CBD in the Marketplace
Additionally, the report highlights the latest on the California CBD conundrum and its growth potential in the marketplace. Below is an excerpt from the report indicating CBD’s legislative outlook:

“The opportunity exists for brands to expand their market share in respective channels and position themselves for mass-market distribution, when and if, there is clarity from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or when legislation is passed by Congress under the new administration (forcing the FDA’s hand). Under a new administration, look to Congress to be Hemp CBD’s champion far more than the FDA.”

Innovation Across the County
With growth comes innovation as new technologies continue to drive the hemp industry forward. The report captures how the next significant trends include the opportunities in hemp oil, food, and fiber and which States could have the most hemp licenses, signifying areas with potential growth.

Steve Hoffman, Editor of Let’s Talk Hemp, and the Hemp Industry 2021 Opportunities Report, indicates, “With the advancement of hemp foods and CBD, the industrial applications for hemp are only beginning. From the rise of hemp fiber in textiles, paper, packaging, construction, animal bedding, and more, to the possibilities of hemp to replace petroleum in plastics and bio-composites, truly the hemp industry is still at the beginning of its hockey stick curve. When all is said and done, 2021 is going to be a good year for hemp.”
