It’s complicated to say the least, and the regulatory structure has left Hawaii farmers struggling to compete with farmers on the mainland. In this episode I sat down with Ray Maki, owner of Hawaii Nexus Hemp Farms, and his associate Jason Fried, to discuss the current landscape of hemp in Hawaii.
