Event organizers are grateful for the continued commitment from high-level sponsors, such as the partnership with EcoGen Biosciences, as it furthers the wide-range of opportunities available at the Expo. “We’re proud to be a part of the NoCo Hemp Expo, and we can’t wait to re-engage with the community and share with everyone what EcoGen has been up to in the past year,” said Garrett Bain, President, EcoGen BioSciences. “We’re looking to the future and returning to in-person meetings at NoCo Hemp Expo.”
NoCo Hemp Expo will feature the EcoGen team on Friday, March 26, from 3:45 – 4:00 pm during the Let’s Talk Hemp Business Conference. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear more about EcoGen’s Company Mission during a presentation from Bain and his team.

Through our partnership with EcoGen, our team can continue to provide interactive and informative seminars that we are known for throughout the industrial hemp community,” said Elizzy Knight, VP of NoCo Hemp Expo.
NoCo7 Honors Materials Zone Stage to Dion Markgraaff
Formation Ag, a Colorado-based equipment innovation and machinery manufacturer is pleased to sponsor the Materials Zone at NoCo Hemp Expo. The stage will host speakers who will provide information on hemp building supplies, fabric, and other innovations made from hemp.
Together, event organizers and Formation Ag are dedicating the Materials Zone Stage to honor the passing of hemp pioneer, Dion Markgraaff. As indicated in Let’s Talk Hemp, Markgraaff was a Vista, CA, resident who had a long career in cannabis and hemp, where he started an early hemp store, “Cannabis in Amsterdam.” He helped to organize medical cannabis for patients in San Diego and worked to make medical cannabis legal in Mexico. Markgraaff also served as vice president and was an early founding member of the U.S. Hemp Building Association and hosted a weekly “Hempcrete 101” construction class dedicated for building with hemp in Vista. He even built a “Hemp Church” in his backyard from hempcrete where all were welcome to celebrate the bounty of hemp.
“Dion was a tremendous inspiration and was a true advocate for hemp. He will be truly missed, and we are forever grateful for the steps he took for the advancement of hemp,” Morris Beegle, Let’s Talk Hemp Media Co-founder and Producer of NoCo Hemp Expo. “We’re proud of the partnerships we have established to be able to dedicate the Materials Zone Stage in Dion’s honor.”
On Thursday, March 25, in advance of the NoCo Hemp Expo, a full-day Investor Forum, presented by NoCo Hemp Expo and Nutrition Capital Network, will be held at the Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel, nearby the Western Complex. The Forum will feature high-end investment professionals and business leaders covering the convergence of hemp, cannabis, nutrition, and psychedelic investments.
