CABO SAN LUCAS, MEXICO (October 14, 2021) — A new era of legalization is dawning in Mexico for hemp, as well as medical and recreational marijuana. Other countries in Central and Latin America are also opening the doors to the opportunities of cannabis.
A casual gathering in Cabo San Lucas will explore current affairs and share the challenges and opportunities in the hemp and cannabis industries, while participants enjoy a relaxing getaway in beautiful Los Cabos.
The pay-your-own way event is hosted by We are For Better Alternatives (WAFBA) and Colorado Hemp Company, organizers of NoCo Hemp Expo and Southern Hemp Expo.
“Historic legislation in Mexico, Costa Rica and elsewhere will open up countless business opportunities for hemp and cannabis in manufacturing, tourism and international trade,” said Morris Beegle, organizer and founder of WAFBA.
“We love to get away, meet friends new and old, and set the intention to have a positive impact through the roles each of us play in this new industry,” he added.
The meetup in a gorgeous beachfront setting offers the opportunity to network, create new connections and share ideas about the future of hemp and cannabis in the western hemisphere. Join us for delicious food, casual conversation with like minded people and a festive atmosphere.
On Friday, Nov. 5, festivities begin with a happy hour at the Cabo San Lucas Marina, followed by a Sunset Cruise.
Saturday, Nov. 6, an informal discussion of the state of hemp and cannabis in 2021 will take place at a rooftop location along Medano Beach from 1 – 4:20 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing at 7 p.m.
