The future is now: Medical cannabis applications, hemp farming and the latest developments in the rapidly growing cannabis industry will meet at the Technopolis City of Athens during the 1st BALKANNABIS EXPO, June 1-3, 2018. 

The largest companies of the global cannabis/ hemp industry will be in attendance, many honoring us with their support as official sponsors. More than 120 exhibitors from around the globe will be presenting a wealth of applications, products, technologies and entrepreneurial initiatives evolving around both the medical and industrial use of cannabis.

Over 30 internationally renowned speakers, scientists and industry leaders will be present to share with us current developments, medical advances and business prospects in the Cannabis industry: Ethan Russo, Bonnie Goldstein, Lunir Hanus, Boaz Wachtel, Deidi Meiri, Guillermo Velasco, Paul Hornby, Paul Benhaim, Morris Beegle, Daniel Kruse, Rafael Dulon, Joscha Krauss, Henry Vincenty, Kehrt Reyher, Hanka Gabrielova, Boris Baňas and many more.

During the 3-day BALKANNABIS EXPO, four Masterclasses will be held for physicians, medical personnel, growers and processors on medical cannabis and hemp applications, as well as workshops & presentations (nutrition, cooking, building). A diversity of parallel artistic events (including live painting, cannabis comics and poster exhibition, performances, circus, music and other artistic activities) will accompany the trade fair and its conferences.

Up to date developments from the world of science, hands-on interaction with innovations and products, building of new partnerships and setting up of the new and promising Greekand Balkan market. We are positioning Greece on the world-wide Cannabis map. We will be developing and promoting an economic sector with a phenomenal annual growth rate, building domestic production and seeking the role of export leader for the Greek Cannabis industry in both the Balkans and Europe.

A celebration of cannabis by the people of cannabis. The organizers are entrepreneurs, advocates and activists with more than 15 years of involvement in the international cannabis community and in shaping conditions for policy reform in Greece.

BALKANNABIS EXPO is the culmination of years of effort in informing public opinion and policy makers in Greece. It is the result of a long-standing engagement in the commercial and production sectors of cannabis & hemp, in international exhibitions and activism, as well as advocacy and well-documented proposals for an integrated regulatory framework on cannabis & hemp that respect the users, patients, producers and entrepreneurs. We paved the way and now we will provide for the effective implementation of the new regulations.

BALKANNABIS EXPO is being realized under the auspices of the City of Athens, the Greater Region of Attica and the office of the Secretary General of Industry. It is supported by international associations, organizations and networks such as the International Cannabis and Cannabinoid Institute (ICCI), ENCOD, FAAAT, and the NoCo Hemp Expo.
