21st Annual European Industrial Hemp Association Conference to be held in Prague, Czech Republic

Prague, Czech Republic – The European Industrial Hemp Association (EIHA) is pleased to announce the 21st Annual European Industrial Hemp Association Conference, scheduled to take place from June 6-7, 2024, at the prestigious Prague Congress Centre in Prague, Czech Republic.

The two-day event is set to bring together a diverse array of industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, and experts to delve into the latest advancements and opportunities within the dynamic hemp sector. Attendees can expect insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and actionable strategies aimed at driving the future of industrial hemp across Europe and beyond.

Featuring a lineup of esteemed speakers, the conference will showcase  thought leaders from various sectors of the hemp value chain. Among the  distinguished speakers are: 

Jola Huijberts, Market Officer for Fibre Crops at DG AGRI, European  Commission 

Paul Tossell, Head of Novel Foods at the Food Standards Agency (FSA) of the UK 

Jindrich Voboril, National Anti-Drug Coordinator of the Czech Republic 

These speakers, along with many others, will offer valuable insights into  innovative technologies, regulatory landscapes, and market trends shaping  the hemp industry. The panels will always bring interesting discussions among  the speakers and the attendees regarding the following topics: carbon credits,  hemp building materials, straw processing, fibre for textiles, regulatory aspects  at national and international level, farming practices, flower extracts and seed  market.
